  • Note from Stephen Todd

    TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE ELECTION

I am Stephen Todd, candidate for trustee. I entered the race for two reasons.
    1) A definite need for change in leadership.
    2) I have the skills and demeanor needed

With seven candidates now running for two positions I have come to the following decision. We need a change in leadership with the current dysfunction, as too many decisions and actions are based on Emotion, Grudge, Opinion, Spite.

Leroy needs levelheaded, fair minded, unbiased, fact-based, cooperative trustees. With other very qualified candidates like Roy Greig and Linda Burhenne to choose from, I am suspending my candidacy and endorsing these two for township trustee.

  • Event audio

Glad to see people found it helpful to to able to listen to the event if you did not make it in person.

Looks we have 313 hits to date on the audio page, so good interest for sure but still many others voters out there need to hear from the candidates themselves to make an informed decision when casting their vote.

  • Site stats

Well for only having a week to get this together I feel it went well and I served my fellow neighbors by making sure their voice was heard if they choose to submit a question.

As for traffic, there was lots of lookers that maybe did not have a questions but wanted to see what updates come from such events so maybe this can be a platform used again.

  • Event follow-up

What a great event, was super to see so many Leroy residents show up and want to hear and be heard, For never doing something like this because I think it was well organized and went smoothly.

Each candidate had time to express their vision for Leroy, hearing each point of view shows us the future is bright for all of us that call Leroy home.

You can listen to the event audio here

  • Countdown

I let the page collect submissions for as long as possible while still giving time to review and organized the questions for tonight event.

The cut off was 9/15 3:51pm as that was the last question received that will be included in tonight’s event.

After this time the forms will still work but will record as new submissions and can be used for future events.

  • Good traffic

Since launching this site in the Facebook group it has got a bunch of traffic and people are submitting their questions for the meet the candidate night on Monday.

The more questions that are turned in the better your voices can be heard so share this info with your neighbors and keep those responses coming in.

  • Facebook updates

Thru out the weekend I will keep reposting this info to the Leroy Facebook group, but people need to spread the word to their neighbors not on Facebook, go to LeroyOhio.us

  • Reminder event 9/15/25

There will be the meet the candidates that are running for trustee event on Monday the 15th from 6pm to 8pm at the Girldled Road Reservation south pavilion located at 12926 Radcliffe Rd.

This event was scheduled by Roy Greig and will be moderated by Eric Stutzman, all candidates will be in attendance except Heather Shelton but she plans to hold an additional event as well.

  • Your moderator

For the meet the candidates night setup by Roy Greig, several members of the community as well as Roy himself have asked me (Eric Stutzman)to moderate it, So I created this site to help collect info from the community to present to the candidates.

I feel with good input from all members of Leroy and by attending Township meeting this site can provide good info to all of our Leroy neighbors so they are informed and educated on what is going on in our community.

  • Spread the word

Hello Leroy neighbors, I will post this site to the Leroy Facebook group but that is not all just people from Leroy and not all Leroy residents our on Facebook.

Please share this website LeroyOhio.us with your other Leroy neighbors so they can educate themselves on the upcoming election and submit any questions\concerns they want to have heard.
